Some awkward design choices, but otherwise good : Metra 99-7895 HONDA ACCORD W/POCKET 98-02
I got this to go with my Clarion CZ501. I mention the radio specifically, because the metal mounting bracket used to insert into this dash kit didn't work as well as it could've. The Clarion unit uses metal tabs that bend around a dash kit to keep it from sliding forward and out of the dash kit, but because of the pocket on this kit, the bottom tabs could not be extended properly on the bottom half of the unit. The top tabs are what primarily what keep this in place. This could have been resolved if the pocket were a little lower/narrower.
Additionally, the pocket has grooves to insert CD jewel cases. Considering how most people who want to upgrade are doing so for advanced features like bluetooth, USB support, or even aux-in, this seems like an odd, archaic choice. There were also some very rough parts on the pocket that I had to sand down, including a bur that looked like a plastic molding injection point.
Other than that, worked very well in my car. Quality is very nice and looks good in my car. Recommended.
